Shadecloth Fasteners & Accessories

Timber Shadecloth Fasteners are rectangular shaped and designed to hammer through the shade cloth into timber. Shadecloth manufacturers recommend using 5 timber fasteners per metre (every 200mm) around the perimeter and along any joins and 1 timber fastener every metre along each timber beam/rafter in the body of the fabric.
Each fastener measures approx 45mm x 12mm.

Waterproof TEK Screw Fasteners are designed for use to fasten down waterproof shadecloth, poly fabrics and hothouse fabrics to timber structures. It is highly recommended you use a Rubber Seal to help seal the fabric to keep it as waterproof as possible and prevent it from tearing in the wind.Available for fixing to either Timber or Steel. Shadecloth manufacturers recommend using 6 waterproof timber fasteners per metre (every 160mm approx) around the perimeter and along any joins and 1 fastener every metre along each timber beam/rafter in the body of the fabric.

Lacing Cord is designed for use in securing shade fabrics to metal posts, steel cable and pipe frames. Using the Lacing Needle you thread the Lacing Cord through the fabric and around the frame whilst tensioning the fabric.

Cable Ties are a UV Stabilised Black Plastic fastener designed to quickly and easily wrap shadecloth and other fabrics around pipe frames, posts, and cables or even to join material together.

Butterfly Clips are commonly used to attach shadecloth to Tensioned Wire or Cable.

Shadecloth Joining Pins are harpoon shaped and are used to join two pieces of unsupported shadecloth. The Joining Pin has barbed teeth at one end and a hook at the other end and just push through the fabric and grip into place.

Polyclips are used to secure Horticultural Fabrics to Tensioned Wire up to 2.5mm diameter.

Retractor Clips are made from UV stabilised black plastic and fit around wire or cable and clip through an eyelet allowing Shade covers to slide along the wires more easily.

C-Clips are a simple economical way to attach shadecloth to mesh and chain wire fencing. Simply place a C-Clip in the special easy to use C-Clip pliers, push into the fabric and squeeze the clip around the wire.

Frameguard Adhesive Lagging Tape is a foam tape used as a soft barrier to prevent chaffing & heat damage to fabric on steel and timber frames.

Weedmat Fixing Staples are a U shaped pin that pushes through the fabric into the ground to hold flooring materials in place.
